There
are many exciting events for the upcoming months that we’d love you
to know about. They’re free and open to all, so please join us for any
or all of them…
The Book Ends book group will discuss IN THE COMPANY OF THE COURTESAN by Sarah Dunant. Everyone is invited to join the group which meets on the second Tuesday of each month.
Amy Young, author of the popular Belinda Ballerina books will be signing and reading from her newest book, BELINDA BEGINS BALLET. This fourth book about everyone’s favorite ballerina and her awkward first steps will delight little ballerinas with big dreams.
Liz Suneby, co-author of SEE WHAT YOU CAN BE, will offer tween girls a peek at careers, from clothing designer to aerospace engineer. We’ve had a lot of interest about this signing and workshop event so we suggest you RSVP the store if you plan to attend.

In March we thank all of the writers, because how would we survive this long winter without books! Reading is a lifelong pleasure and good books open us to many worlds and enrich our lives. Greg Mortenson, author of THREE CUPS OF TEA: ONE MAN’S MISSION TO PROMOTE PEACE ONE SCHOOL AT A TIME reminded us last month, as he spoke at the Winchester Reads event, that literacy and education are the answer to many of the world’s woes.
Looking ahead into Spring, we have several children’s authors coming to Book Ends in April, May and June. A highlight will be Matt Tavares with his new book LADY LIBERTY. He will join us on May 10th.
